Facing the rapidly worldwide spreading increase of extracorporeal life support therapy cases surgeons and anesthesiologists (Charite, Berlin) studied the relationship between ECMO associated intracerebral hemorrhage, different bleeding patterns, neurosurgical management and clinical outcome.
